CAA have designated three temporary restricted areas along the east coast of the North Island, to facilitate safety of aviation activities associated with the cyclone recovery. These are in addition to other temporary restricted areas published for those portions of controlled airspace already NOTAMed.
These areas have been published as three separate NOTAMs and a graphic of the areas, is being uploaded to Airways IFIS and Aeropath Preflight. The graphic provides an easy visual description of the areas concerned for awareness.
The administering authority for these areas is Fire and Emergency New Zealand – contact details in the NOTAMs.
