A Part 66 IA certificate is an additional privilege, over and above holding a Part 66 AME licence.
It allows an engineer to perform and certify the following two maintenance functions:

| Current AMEL and IA – but privileges not being used but has a valid expiry date. | Does not meet the recent experience requirements of CAR Part 66.207(2). | Ensure that you regain the 6 in 24 months experience requirements of CAR Part 66.207(2), then complete an IA refresher course - Refer to CAR Part 66.207(1)(iv). |
