This AC describes an acceptable means of compliance with the requirements of Civil Aviation Rule Part 174 relating to the provision of meteorological services for aviation in New Zealand.
This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rule Part 174 Certification – Aviation Meteorological Service Organisations.
Revision 3 incorporates the Safety Management System (SMS) requirement; amends paragraph 174.6 by adding a note on the intention of any mean sea level air pressure as part of a basic weather report; and makes minor editorial changes.
