This AC describes an acceptable means of compliance to enable the issue of aircraft maintenance licences, certificates and ratings and the privileges and limitations of those licences, certificates and ratings.
This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rule Part 66.
Revision 6 of this AC adds a note on the online application process and updates the sections on rule 66.7, Application for licences, certificates, and ratings, rule 66.9(a)(1) - Fit and proper person (FPP) test and rule 66.203, Eligibility requirements, to refer to online applications. It also updates information in the section Forms. Lastly, it adds forms CAA 24066-11 and 24FPP to the section on rule 66.7.
