Airworthiness and Maintenance Workshop

Many owners and operators want to increase their understanding of the requirements for maintaining their aircraft.

The Airworthiness and Maintenance Workshop is designed for a wide range of aviation participants, from airline maintenance planners to private aircraft owners.

The two-day workshop takes a practical approach. There is a limit of 18 participants for each workshop to allow for interaction.

  • Reasons for maintaining aircraft in an airworthy condition
  • Relationship between operator, maintainer, and regulator
  • Certification lifecycle
  • Rules – Parts 91 and 43
  • Maintenance documentation
  • Flight manuals
  • Defect reporting
  • Review of airworthiness.

A maximum of 3 attendees from the same organisation at each workshop.

We’re working on dates and locations for more workshops in the second half of 2025. Sign up to the education email notification list to be notified when new sessions are available to register for.

Workshop fee

The workshop fee is $375 including GST. Accommodation and travel costs are your responsibility, but morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.

Health, safety, and well-being

For those registered to attend our courses and workshops:

  • Only attend if you’re physically well and free from any obvious symptoms of infectious illness, such as cough, cold, sore throat or fever.
  • If you have any symptoms that could be COVID-19, but you’re otherwise well, please conduct a rapid antigen test (RAT) prior to the workshop to confirm you’re COVID-free.
